The holidays are a time for celebration, and this year we have much to celebrate. I'm proud of the results we've delivered so far, the growth we've shown, and the recognition we've earned. But what I'm most proud of is the way we did it in 2013 - by putting the customer at the center of all we do, and by working together to deliver an outstanding experience for that customer.

I am personally thankful for the opportunity to work with talented and dedicated colleagues like you. We are a better company today because of your passion, collaboration and commitment to never stop improving. And on behalf of the entire executive team, we thank you.

To show our appreciation, I'm pleased to announce that beginning December 10, all U.S. employees will enjoy special discounts from Lowe's, ATG and a number of our vendor partners. This year, we've adjusted the timing of these employee discounts in response to your feedback.

With six fewer days this holiday season, we know that customers are focused on getting organized to cross things off their shopping lists. We hope this employee appreciation event helps you cross things off your list too.
